super mario

A deep love of the Super Mario characters and a sophisticated imagination for storytelling.

Jetmir combined sculpture, set design, storytelling, voice, and film in a project that evolved towards a multi dimensional puppet theatre style film of his favourite Super Mario characters in action.

clay sculptures

Non stick clay is coiled intuitively and with ease by Eddie into a large vessel. Family members are rolled and lovingly grouped. Sticky clay is experimented with courageously.

touch pressure

In a quiet room with spoken communication used sparingly by us, Filip begins to explore the creative possibilities of the pressure of touch as a development of his sought proprioceptive and vestibular input.

Plunging felt tip pens into and rolling non stick clay; a ball to bounce and bounce and bounce on; rollers; squeeze bottles; and spongy implements to press into paint trays is hugely satisfying.

A desired creative niche is carved out in the art room.
